Veritas Preparatory School

Veritas is a Nevada non-profit corporation. Veritas is recognized with the IRS as a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization effective May 27, 2023.

Mission Statement

Veritas aims to support families to equip their children to be life-long learners who think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding; who are capable of evaluating their entire range of experiences in light of the Scriptures, discerning cultural influences as distinct from biblical, doing all this in joyful submission to God through knowing and loving the Lord Jesus Christ.

Classical Education

Veritas families believe that God wants us to love Him with our minds, as well as our hearts, soul, and strength (Matt. 22:37).  Therefore, we seek to challenge children at all levels by encouraging them how to learn, using the centuries-old, proven classical method. Veritas families incorporate the Trivium, Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric stages of learning, as described in Dorothy Sayer's essay "The Lost Tools of Learning".
